| My friend Janell Rock, died of breast cancer, July 8, 2008, after a ferocious 13 year struggle. An award winning songwriter, she recorded 2 albums during that time. "Quiet Thrill" came out in 2003. This posthumous release, "Janell Rock, Performer," comprised of her most recent material, is incredibly powerful and hauntingly beautiful. She was working on this album 4 days before she died.
